Once I got close to retirement, I started thinking about what I wanted to do with all the free time I’d have.
I’ve always loved entertaining and hosting, so I thought, how could I incorporate my love of entertaining into my leisure time. So, why not a bed and breakfast.
A lot of work, but I wanted to offer old fashioned, lazy day comforts that exuded the important lessons I learned from my grandmother and great-aunt who raised me.
I spent most of my growing up years learning from a caterer (my great-aunt) and a schoolteacher/principle (my grandmother), who taught me to be honest, help when needed and be a person of integrity.
Couzan’s Lagniappe offers a one-of-a-kind, “the best game in town” kind of etiquette experience that takes you where you want to go… nostalgia, comfort, relaxation.

Kind regards,
Paula
